You robbed me of my pride

You robbed me of my pride
Lavishing me with gifts of humility
How can I raise my eyes to you, now!

I pretended I had found you
All facades fell apart
In the thick of flurry

At my work, in my home.
How can I raise my eyes to you, now!

Could I even house you
When I missed to surrender
In sweet innocence, my heart?

I have always yearned for you,
Yet me eyes have seen myself;
I did not discover you
Seated in the miraculous majesty of  Being.
How can I raise my eyes to you, now!
